Indiaβs finest long-distance runner Gulveer Singh continues to set new standards in Indian athletics.
At the 2025 Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata, Gulveer Singh set a new Indian national record in the 25 km road race, finishing with a time of 1:12:06. He won the Indian Elite menβs category and placed fifth overall in a strong international field. This performance also improved his own previous national record in the event. He had clocked 1:14:10 at the same event last year.
In addition to the 25 km road race record, Gulveer Singh currently holds the Indian national records in the 3000 meters, 5000 metres and 10,000 metres on the track.

RUN RIOT signs off 2025 with more Podium Finishes β
RUN RIOT wrapped up 2025 on a high note with yet another set of podium finishes at the World Tata Steel Kolkata 25K .
Two of the teamβs runners delivered standout performances, showcasing the grit, consistency, and spirit of the Rioteers.
Sangita Rai clinched 1st place π₯ in her age category in the 25 km race.
While Subash Rauth a procam slam veteran secured a 3rd placeπ₯ finish in his age category in the 10 km race.
