सुप्त कोनासन or the reclining angle pose is an advanced variation of हलासन or the plough pose. It benefits in several ways:

- improves spine health
- strengthen the abdominal muscles
- improves digestion
- tones the legs
- improves concentration
- stimulates thyroid glands


One on one session after a break. And boy, she's back with equal strength and positivity.

अंजनेय आसान or the low lunge is one of the aasans in सूर्य नमस्कार or the sun salutation.

It stretches the thighs and groins and opens the chest. It provides recovery post-workout, and boosts energy while consciously working to improve posture.

बकासन or the Crane (Crow) pose is a compact arm balance, that encourages toning in the abs and the arms, strengthening in the core, and improves focus in the mind. This helps in:

- Strengthens arms and wrists
- Stretches the upper back
- Strengthens the abdominal muscles
- Opens the groins
- Tones the abdominal organs


चतुरंगदंड आसान or the four limbed staff pose is one of the aasans in सूर्य नमस्कार or the sun salutation. It works on your arms and shoulders, lower back, biceps and triceps, core, hamstrings and pelvic muscles.

उभय पदांगुष्ठान आसान or the big toe pose.

This pose tones your abdomen; applies acupressure to your big toes (which relate to head and brain health in Chinese reflexology).

It's ideally done with legs straight. Try and come into correct posture by keeping your body aligned, even if that means bending your knees.
