Navratri is a famous Hindu festival celebrated in India with great joy and enthusiasm. This festival is devoted to Goddess Durga, whose nine forms are worshipped during nine days. The nine devis are Shailaputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katyayani, Kaalaratri, Mahagauri, Durga or ParaShakti.
Navratri is a Sanskrit word where Nav means nine and ratri means night. Hence, Navratri goes on for nine fun filled days.
Grade 1 students of BNPS celebrated this occasion by dressing up in different attires of various states in India. They presented different dance forms such as Garba, Dandiya and tiger dance. Our beautiful girls dressed up in 9 different forms of Goddess Durga and gave a spectacular performance.
Spectators were thrilled on witnessing their younger ones performing with such grace and zeal.

On the auspicious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, UKG Rose and Lily performed gracefully in their special assembly where children got an opportunity to explore and enact different aspects of Lord Ganesha's life.
From the welcoming of lord Ganesha, how he got an elephant head, some mischievous stories about him, how he helps others and is known as Vighnaharta, and lastly the visarjan of lord Ganesha's idol. Children beautifully showcased all of these through skits and dance performances.

This Tech-Fest aims to provide a platform for children of BNPS & HES of grades II to XII to display their technical skills. Business Blasters Program 2022 is an initiative taken by the Delhi Govt. to provide a platform for young entrepreneurs to get investments and take their ideas out into the world. Bharat National Public has been selected among 14 other private schools to be a part of this program.
Entrepreneurship is not just building a business and earning a profit, it’s a mindset. One where identifying solutions to overcome common problems in an innovative way is given more weightage. Building a business from the ground up requires creativity, determination, and passion. This opportunity provides the students to be a part of something bigger than their usual curriculum, they get to learn real-life skills like management, adaptability, and interpersonal relationship building, and they get the chance to realize where their passion lies.

A good story makes us wonder, it can teleport us to places and create a path to interactive learning. The art of storytelling has elements of expressions, vocabulary, concepts, skill-building and most importantly fun.

Reading to her kids, Alma Dhingra ( ) realised the love she had for storytelling and how positively it affected her kids. With loud attention grabbing actions, voice modulation, audience interaction, she has beautifully managed to become an expressive storyteller and was able to get the listeners to join in the story. They repeated after her with happy faces and laughter, all the while learning the stories and its core.

BNPS believes in a holistic approach towards education and realises that learning goes beyond the bounds of classrooms. Stories help children and adults alike by fostering curiosity in them. The amazement and retention of meaningful aspects of a story are key benefits of storytelling for the listener. When a scene is set, the listener is transported into the imaginary world of the story and as it progresses they get immersed into the experience. Stories are a great way to touch upon important matters and themes in a way that does not intimidate the listener but spark joy.

The impact of a teacher's guidance is always reflected in their student's successes. Over time those teachings frame the learner's thinking and become a motivating voice. Talking about such stories, our talented art teacher Tanuja T (.19 ) recalled some students of hers whom she remembers fondly.

She remembers one such student Sparsh Matta ( ) who'd only draw cars in all assignments with great passion. He has now gone out to become a successful car designer himself. And another who was equally curious about art and human behaviour finally decided to become a psychologist, Kirti Mundhra ( ) wherein she uses art therapy as a form of treatment. The imprint teachers have on a child's life is always embedded in them no matter where their lives take them and reflected in the kind of work they do.

Here at BNPS, teachers believe in guiding the paths of their students into a bright future. We believe that teaching is larger than classrooms and goes beyond the 14 years of schooling. That is why we try to work towards creating an environment where students are given exposure, resources and direction. But most importantly, we encourage children to choose the path they believe is best for them

The academic excellence of a student is not the only criterion for determining the effectiveness of school education. It rather refers to how youthful minds are transformed into responsible, compassionate human beings. In that sense, the spiritual growth of children is equally important as their psychological, intellectual, social, or scholastic development. When we place a greater emphasis on spiritual education, it broadens the scope of a child's existence and makes education more meaningful. Hence, Morning Prayer is one of the essential experiences of spiritual development at school.

Children are naturally spiritual since their hearts love unconditionally and are inherently innocent. Prayer is essential for them to retain their faith in the spiritual journey and to strengthen their contact with the Almighty. The practice of morning prayer at our school contributes to the development of tolerance, acceptance, and respect for all faiths and diverse religious ideas and viewpoints among young minds which is critical for them to prosper in the 21st century.
