Nitish Kumar Reddy scored a remarkable century batting at No. 8, becoming only the second player in history to achieve this feat.

Nitish Kumar Reddy, a promising Indian all-rounder from Visakhapatnam, combines top-order batting prowess with medium-fast seam bowling, a rare skill set in Indian cricket. Starting cricket at age 5, he gained recognition during U12 and U14 tournaments, catching the eye of former selector MSK Prasad. His breakout came in the 2016-17 Vijay Merchant Trophy, where he scored 441 runs in one match and took 26 wickets, earning the ‘Best Cricketer in the U16 category.’

In the IPL, Reddy joined Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2023 but truly excelled in 2024, scoring two fifties at a strike rate of 142 and taking three wickets. This led to his T20I debut, where he impressed with a match-winning 74 against Bangladesh, showcasing his ability against spin.
