Beast Kieron Pollard

MI and CSK have faced each other in the
finals 4 times,
With CSK winning just once.
In that match, Dhoni set a special
field and got Pollard out (2010 Final).

But in the 2013 final,
Where the entire team failed,
Pollard stood strong,
Scoring 60 runs off just 32 balls,
Leading Mumbai to their first trophy.

In 2015 too,
With his quick finishing,
He pushed the score to 200,
Turning the final in Mumbai's favor.

And in 2019,
When both teams came to the
final with 3 trophies each,
Pollard single-handedly lifted the team,
Taking the score to nearly 150.

Mumbai won the match by just 1 run,
Securing their 4th trophy.

Mumbai Cha Raja - Rohit Sharma

2015 IPL season,
Mumbai Indians had lost 5 out of their
first 6 matches and were
on the brink of being eliminated
from the top 4.

At that point, captain Rohit Sharma
told the team,
"Now every match is a do-or-die for us."

To benefit the team, he changed
his own batting position and formed a stable opening pair with
Parthiv Patel and Lendl Simmons.

In overseas bowling,
Mitchell McClenaghan was brought in,
who took 18 wickets in just 12 matches.

Youngster Hardik Pandya was given
the finishing role.

Rohit Sharma himself became
the second-highest run-scorer
for the team and,
even under the pressure of the final,
played a captain's knock and scored a fifty.

The team, which was on the
verge of being eliminated,
went on to win 9 out of their last
10 matches, leading Mumbai Indians to their second IPL championship.

Captain Kane Williamson

The only player who wasn’t an opener,
yet still won the Orange Cap

Kane Williamson in 2018

That was the season when
David Warner was banned
and ruled out of the IPL

That’s when
Kane Williamson took charge of
Sunrisers Hyderabad

He built an almost unbeatable
bowling unit

A team that became famous
for defending targets

They even defended the
second-lowest total in IPL history
against Mumbai Indians

And as a batsman,
he never let the team feel
Warner’s absence

Kane scored 735 runs
in 17 matches
at an average of 52

With 8 fifties,
he also won the Orange Cap

He even took SRH
to the final

Yes, they didn’t win the trophy,
but Kane’s season
will always be remembered

India's oldest football tournament

The person who drew Pakistan’s border
also gave India its first football tournament

A British officer, Sir H. M. Durand,
drew one of the bloodiest lines in history on the map

The line that divides present-day Pakistan and Afghanistan
the Durand Line

Even today, Afghanistan does not accept this line

Because it split tribal groups living there
especially the Pashtuns

And the same man who drew this line
started a football tournament in Shimla

He formed army teams
and began playing football

In the beginning, only British teams
used to play and win

But in 1940, a Bengali team
defeated an English team for the first time
and won the Durand Cup (Mohammedan Sporting)

It is the only tournament in the world
where three trophies are awarded

Now tell me, which is your favorite football team?

A goal took his life 💔

For scoring one goal,
This player was killed.

This happened during the
1994 FIFA World Cup,
In the match between
USA and Colombia.

Colombia started the match
with a strong attack,
But they couldn't score a goal.

Then, in the 22nd minute of the match,
the ball
Came towards Colombia's goalpost,

And their defender
Andrés Escobar accidentally
Hit the ball into his own net,
scoring an own goal.

As a result, Colombia lost the match 2-1.
This meant that the team,
which was considered one of the
favorites to win the World Cup,
Was eliminated in the group stage.

Ten days after this match,
In a city in Colombia,
A shooter shot Andrés Escobar
six times in the back,
And shouted, "Goal! Goal! Goal!"

Best IPL opening Games

RCB and SRH will play the first IPL match,
That too at Chinnaswamy,
The same place where IPL started 19 years ago.

So many seasons have passed in the IPL,
But these are the two opening games I can never forget.

When CSK returned after a 2-year ban,
And their first match was against Mumbai Indians.

While chasing 166 runs,
DJ Bravo stood strong almost alone throughout the chase.
The biggest highlight was that
He hit Bumrah for 3 sixes in a single over.
And in the last over, Jadhav finished the match,
Announcing Chennai’s comeback.

And the best IPL opening game will always be
That very first match,
KKR vs RCB, when people had doubts about how the league would perform.

And in the very first match itself,
Brendon McCullum’s 158-run knock proved
That IPL was going to change cricket forever.

Women who revolutionized olympics

The story is from back when
the Olympic Games first started,
where women could only play
a few games like golf, tennis, and archery.

Running, long jump, high jump,
and athletics events were
strictly off-limits for them.

The founders of the Olympics
said that,
“It’s improper to have women in sports.”

Then, this French lady started a movement,
formed a women sports federation,
and organized the Women’s Olympics.

In 1922, 20,000 people attended

Eventually, the Olympic committee
had to negotiate with Alice Milliat.

In the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics,
for the first time,
women's athletics events were included.

How is ball speed measured?

This gun measures bowling speed.
A South African engineer
invented this device
called a radar speed gun
to measure speed.

It is placed near the sight screens in the stadium.
It sends invisible radio waves toward the ball.
When the bowler throws the ball,
these waves hit the ball and return back
to the radar gun.

Then in a fraction of a second,
how many waves were sent
and how many returned after hitting the ball,
this gun calculates that difference
with the help of a microprocessor inside it.
Using this physics formula
which is called
Doppler’s Effect.

Champion Ishan Kishan 🙌🇮🇳

The player who hadn’t been in the
Indian team for 2 years.

The captain called him and asked,
"Will you win the World Cup?"

Then Ishan said, "Will you trust me?"

There was a confidence in Ishan’s words
that he had earned through
2 years of hard work.

Because when Ishan was dropped from
the team with the reason that
"he’s not serious about his game,"
his form also went down.
But he didn’t respond to anyone verbally.

He went back to his hometown,
practiced on the pitch,
and mastered his off-side game.

He made a comeback in domestic cricket,
scoring over 500 runs in the
Mushtaq Ali Trophy,
and returned to the Indian team.

Just one day before the final,
Ishan’s cousin sister died in a car accident.

He controlled his emotions and still
scored fifty in the final,
contributing to the team,
and also became the second-highest run-scorer.

And helped us win the World Cup
