*Contraindications of Parvatasana*:- A hunched back, acute trouble in spinal column or shoulder pain, stiff knees or pain in elbow joints or knee joints.
*Benefits of Parvatasana*:- Improves blood circulation, particularly at the chest and abdominal region. Breathing capacity increases and becomes effortless. Gives good stretch to the spinal column, thus improving blood circulation which improves the functioning of the spinal nerves. This asana helps the children of the growing age to gain height. The overdevelopment or sagging of the breasts is corrected by daily practice of this asana and the breasts attain a proper tone. Hence, this asana is especially beneficial to women after delivery.
