🙌🏻 PNG Family is proud to share that the cover photograph of this publication has been beautifully illustrated by and credited to Mr. Binnay Kumar Kharka, PGT (Physics).

We wholeheartedly congratulate Binnay Sir and thank him for reminding us that while the teaching profession is fundamentally sacrificial and rooted in service, educators can still nurture their passions, pursue their interests, and continue growing beyond the classroom.

His work stands as a wonderful example that dedication to students and personal excellence can go hand in hand.

May God continue to bless his efforts and inspire him in all his endeavors. 🌟

As part of the school’s efforts to promote joyful and experiential learning in alignment with the spirit of CBSE Bagless Days, Book Fair 2026 was successfully conducted on 21st and 22nd May at the Infant Hall of PNG School in collaboration with Scholastic.

The event was organised to nurture reading habits among students, encourage independent learning, and provide meaningful engagement with books beyond the classroom curriculum. In keeping with the Bagless Day approach, the fair offered students an opportunity to explore learning in an enjoyable and stress-free environment, away from routine textbook-based instruction.

A rich collection of storybooks, activity books, reference materials, novels, and educational resources was displayed for students from the Preparatory Stage to Senior Secondary classes. Students enthusiastically explored different genres, interacted with books of their interest, and experienced the joy of reading through self-directed choice and discovery.

The programme was graced by the presence of the respected Principal Sir, whose encouragement added great value to the event. The fair was successfully coordinated by the School Librarian, Sir Anurag Thatal, along with the dedicated team from Scholastic, especially Mr. Surya Chatterjee.

Teachers actively guided students in selecting age-appropriate and meaningful books, helping transform the fair into an enriching learning experience. The vibrant displays, interactive atmosphere, and enthusiastic participation contributed to a joyful environment that fostered curiosity, imagination, and a lifelong love for reading.✨
