SABA Congratulates Shri Jaslal Pradhan, an Arjuna Awardee, President of Sikkim Amateur Boxing Association, on His Appointment as Observer for the Commonwealth Games 2026.

The Sikkim Amateur Boxing Association (SABA) extends its heartfelt congratulations to Shri Jaslal Pradhan, an Arjuna Awardee, on his prestigious appointment as an Observer for the Commonwealth Games 2026, to be held in Glasgow, Scotland from 23rd July to 2nd August 2026.

This remarkable achievement is a matter of immense pride not only for the boxing fraternity but also for the entire state of Sikkim. Shri Jaslal Pradhan has dedicated his life to the growth and development of Indian boxing, and his appointment reflects his exceptional integrity, vast experience, and unwavering commitment to the sport.

At the 212th Bhanu Jayanti held in Soreng District on 13th July 2026, Hon’ble Chief Minister felicitated Ms. Soney S***a National Bronze medalist ,along with the SABA President, General Secretary, and Soney’s father.

On this occasion, SABA also presented a cash award to Soney, given by the hands of Hon’ble CM Sir.
