Many people blame deadlifts or squats for getting injured in the lower back or shoulders or wrist or anywhere else.

While reviewing their form videos, there is nothing they're doing wrong.
Form is perfectly fine.

But, no one is recording the loading and de-loading of weights and it gets neglected. That's where many people go wrong.

You may not be lifting heavy but it still matters.

Few pointers when handling weights in the gym:
- No sudden jerks, whether it's with 20kg plate or 5kg dumbell.
- Straight back when bending to lift weights, specially for deadlifts.
- If you need the barbell one point down and weights are heavy, ask for help from someone. Never be afraid to ask for help!
- Lift Dumbells from ground doing the deadlift movement.. whether you're picking them up for bench press or shrugs.

All in all, pay more attention to your forms while racking, unracking, loading and de-loading of weights to reduce the risk of injuries.
