I get asked this question almost every day — “Anu, is online yoga and Pilates actually worth it?”
And my honest answer? It depends — but for most people, it’s a complete yes. 🙌

The truth is, you don’t need a fancy studio, a perfect schedule, or even a dedicated room. You need a mat, a little bit of willingness, and someone who actually shows up for you every day.

This is Move With Anu.

Who knew movement classes could be online 😊

My little community shows up from all over the world 🌍 They roll out their mats and show up — tired, busy, caffeinated, sleep-deprived, determined. They show up anyway.

This space was created so I could continue my love for teaching movement & that people could still focus on their fitness no matter the circumstance , no matter where they lived in the world (covid times).

So grateful that this has grown into a space that feels real & connected 🩷

If you’re in my class, know that you don’t have to be advanced or flexible or have the perfect setup. You just need to have the intention to show up consistently for yourself ❤️

We do yoga. We do pilates. We do pre-postnatal fitness. We breathe. We laugh sometimes. We work hard always.

Nobody warned me that having kids meant losing my mornings (sometimes days) entirely

For years I just tried to navigate this new role & repsonsobility. As someone who enjoyed alone time, a very clean home and my morning chai, I found myself more reactive, rushed, already behind before the day started. Without my morning movement, I didn’t feel like my day started right.

And as a yoga practitioner , I also found myself wondering why am I not able to get a good 2 hours for my practice before the house woke up 🤭

And then I stopped trying to live by ideals and follow everyone else’s 6am routine and built one that actually fits my life. I still get in my morning movement but it’s mostly after kids head off to school. But I’ve created a morning routine that sets the tone for my day & it works beautifully for me

On most days it’s 20 minutes or so. It’s not perfect. But it’s the one that works for me 🩷

Some days the mat is the only place that makes sense. 🤍
I don’t always show up feeling good. Some days I’m tired, I’m in my head, I’m running on few hours of sleep and chai


But I’ve learned that I never regret showing up. Not once. Not ever 🍃

Movement isn’t about fitness for me anymore. It’s about coming home to myself. Five minutes or fifty — it doesn’t matter- it’s my sanctum sanctorum. The mat doesn’t judge what I bring to it.

This is what I teach in my Yoga & Pilates classes too. Presence that builds mind~muscle~ breath connection 🌸
