It all started here.. the same rifle still holds strong 🙌

I know, nobody is talking about it, not any local media as well!
But did you know a boy from your neighbourhood just won a GOLD medal at the ISSF - International Shooting Sport Federation Junior World Championships in Shooting.
Abhinav Shaw from Asansol, won a Team Gold at the just concluded Junior World Championships, Lima, Peru in Air Rifle Category.
Im so glad to see him go ahead and he was also trained at Joydeep Karmakar Shooting Academy in his formative years.
I congratulate him and the pillars of strength behind him - Verinder Dhall, his parents Priyanka Banerjee Shaw & Rupesh Shaw and his coaches.

Joydeep Karmakar Shooting Academy again reigns the Bengal Shooting circuit with a huge win at the 2nd West Bengal Rifle Association - WBRA GOLD CUP 2024!
With a whopping 121 points ( 41 medals) , 2nd - Serampore Rifle Club 29 points ( 8 medals) & 3rd - Pro Shooting Academy 21 points ( 6 medals) , emerged as overall Champions 🏆 today.
Im glad that we have kept the legacy of nurturing shooters from scratch level to winning medals at State and Nationals.
Our club in Bally, Shooting Sports Club, Howrah also won 1 Gold Medal.
I congratulate all winners and participants.

ISSF - International Shooting Sport Federation Final Olympic Qualification, Brazil. Indian duo of Palak & Sainyam make it to the Finals of 10M Air Pistol. 1 more quota will make it 20 for India. (my prediction was 20) 🇮🇳🎯

Unfortunate and sad day for Indian Shooting Team. Indian Team had unprecedented medal haul in his tenure.

Joydeep Karmakar resigns as 50m chief coach after ‘zero communication’ from NRAI regarding contract renewal Karmakar is the third coach to tender his resignation within a month, after India’s trap coach Russell Mark and his wife and s***t coach Lauryn.

It was nice to interact with Paralympic Gold medalist Pramod Bhagat today. Thanks to Times Group and other PSUs coming in support of Para Sports by organizing Para Games in West Bengal - পশ্চিমবঙ্গ. Great work by Chandan Roy Choudhury, who is making the movement more relevant and strong. Best wishes to our athletes and officials. 👏
