We lost of our grandmother (Amamma) on 3rd May after prolonged sickness due to old age. I used to call her Amma as a toddler since I was raised by her. I remember her paying fees and buying things for needy from her pension. I have learnt to give and love unconditionally only through her. My Nanamma (Victoria Jeevarathnam) and Amamma have a great impact on my life to be the person that am today. And they both continue to live on through their impact. Am grateful for the love I received and blessings for me and my children.
May you rest in peace. No more suffering and pain. 🙏🏾

Easter reminds us of the power of resurrection in Christ and all darkness has no power. In everything give thanks to God and never lose hope & faith. Let’s celebrate this new life and look forward to each day in hope.

It's the attitude that we choose to face the day determines our success or failure.

It's easy to feel lost when faced with tough situations and especially when the new year starts on a wrong note. Personally I have been dealing this from Dec 2023 and 2024 is no different. Everyday am fighting battles in my head dealing with feelings and thoughts of hopelessness, helplessness, anxiety, sleeplessness due to excruciating pain, loss of productivity where I felt like a failure and when did not find the help in time I needed, felt like unloved and many more thoughts flood my mind.
What is possible for me when I have such thoughts? This one question made me feel unstuck and allowed me to accept the current feeling which further empowered me to choose the attitude to face the day or the people.
Things always won't be in our favor, but we have the choice to make the most of it or succumb to it.
I choose to keep faith and not let any of these thoughts create fear and withhold me back from being the best I can be .

Grateful for an enriching 2023 that was filled with great memories and also with grief that left a huge vacuum in our lives. Yet our hope is in the Lord who will lead us with his grace and according to his plan. My greatest learning from this year is worrying won’t solve or remove any unfavourable situations from our life. Face, embrace and walk in faith are the only things that are in my control. So am stepping into 2024 in faith and will make the most of everything that happens to me or around me.

Found this on the internet but great reminders for this month. 90days for this year to end and what we choose determines how we end this year.

My Mom has retired from her services due to the upper age limit and there’s no better way than to celebrate her and her accomplishments in all these years. Many of her colleagues shared their experiences and fond memories of working with her and it only made me realise how much of an influence she had on us making and shaping us whatever we are today.
Wishing our dear mom more power to start a new chapter in her life now using this wealth of experience and expertise as per the Lord’s leading.

Easter 2023

When I look in retrospect I have enough examples in my life where I have limited myself to operate at my fullest potential. It was due to low self confidence, disbelief and self- doubt. I always thought and told myself that “I am not enough”. Overtime I have learnt that, I cannot do things by myself but only with God’s Grace. When I started taking those leaps of faith, I was able to face my fears and took some small steps to make a shift from being a mediocre person to the best version of myself.
It’s a journey. I am not there yet! But with awareness and my faith I am going to enjoy this process of becoming the best version of myself that is so proud of how far I have come.
