Today while reviewing a few posts on LinkedIn, I got into thinking about the hardest hit industry due to COVID- my very own foundation- The Hospitality Industry. Reminicising the old times, I remembered how proud we have always been to refer ourselves as hoteliers and how attached we become with the properties we work with. While performing our duties, we even forget our real families and have never been around them for any special occasions!

As someone said- You can only survive in the hospitality industry if you are crazy! and its true, because of the crazy working hours- some working 15-16 hours a day, to being paid so less, that in today's time surviving ,with a family to take care of is next to impossible.Yet, every morning the day begins, the hotelier would return back to the shift, with a smile on his/her face.

This post is to reach out to everyone who is a part of Hospitality industry, is to request you to have patience. Use this time to strategise your life, take care of your bodies and re-energise, spend time with your loved ones.

For as nothing stays forever, this too shall pass and sun will rise again in our very homeland- The Hospitality Industry
