Sumeet Passi (born 12 September 1994 in Ambala city) is an Indian striker who played for the Indian I-League Club Sporting Goa and ISL North East United FC
Passi began playing the game at a very young age and thanks his father, Jai Prakash Passi who is a former Railways player, as the man who motivated him to become a dedicated footballer. Passi than began his footballing career as a training with Chandigarh Football Academy. In 2007 it was announced that Passi would be the captain of the Chandigarh football team at the under-14s level for the 53rd National School Games.
International career
Passi made his debut for India against Laos on 2 June 2016 in Pre World Cup Qualifier . He scored his first international goal against Laos on 7 June 2016 with an assist from Jackichand Singh Telem .

Brazil declares mourning period after air disaster in Colombia ON NOVEMBER 29, 201612:40 PMIN NEWSCOMMENTS The Brazilian government on Tuesday declared three days mourning for the victims of a plane that went down in Colombia, killing 76 people including much of Brazil’s Chapecoense football team. President Michel Temer ordered the mourning period. Officials in Colombia said that five people survived when the charter plane, which originated in Sao Paulo in Brazil, crashed near Medellin.
