*Jammu & Kashmir Blind Cricket Team Shines in Nagesh Trophy Group E Matches*
*Gandhinagar, Gujarat | December 16–19, 2025*
The Jammu & Kashmir blind cricket team delivered an impressive performance in the *Nagesh Trophy T20 Cricket Tournament for the Blind 2025*, Group E, held at Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
*Match-wise Performance:*
*1. December 16, 2025 – vs Manipur*
Jammu & Kashmir edged past Manipur in a nail-biting finish, winning by *5 runs*.
- *J&K Total*: 173/6
- *Top Performer*: *Sahil* – unbeaten 33 runs and strong contribution with the ball
- *Player of the Match*: Sahil
*2. December 17, 2025 – vs Railways*
A dominant show saw J&K outplay Railways by *57 runs*.
- *J&K Total*: 232 runs
- *Railways Total*: 175 all out
- *Top Performer*: *Shiv Sharma* – impactful all-round display
- *Player of the Match*: Shiv Sharma
*3. December 18, 2025 – vs Vidarbha*
Jammu & Kashmir cruised to victory, defeating Vidarbha by *8 wickets*.
- *Highlight*: *Manpreet Singh* took 5 wickets for 24 runs in 4 overs
- *Player of the Match*: Manpreet Singh
*4. December 19, 2025 – vs Goa* In a tightly fought contest, J&K narrowly missed qualification for the Super 10 stage, losing to Goa by *12 runs*.
Despite the setback in the final match, the team has earned accolades for their spirited performance and sportsmanship. The Jammu & Kashmir Blind Cricket Team continues to inspire with their grit and determination on the national stage.
