π₯ 13th District Jammu Ju-Jitsu Championship 2025 Concludes Successfully π
The 13th District Jammu Ju-Jitsu Championship 2025 was successfully concluded at JKSC Hall, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu, witnessing the enthusiastic participation of around 100 athletes from various institutions across Jammu District.
The championship was organised by the District Jammu Ju-Jitsu Association under the banner of the Ju-Jitsu Association of Jammu & Kashmir, affiliated with the Ju-Jitsu Association of India and the J&K Olympic Association.
Sh. Tarsem Sharma, Vice President of the Ju-Jitsu Association of India and Founder & CEO of Ju-Jitsu in J&K, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He appreciated the commendable efforts of the organisers and motivated the athletes to aim higher and excel at national and international levels.
The event was efficiently managed by Rudraksh*t Gupta, along with Harsh Vardhan Raina, Karun Khajuria, Rohini Chib, Manish Gill, Anirudh Verma, Jaspreet Kour, Vanshika Nanda, Manya Thakur, Pavni Gupta, and Suresh Kumar, whose dedicated teamwork ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the championship.
It was also announced that the medal winners will represent their districts in the upcoming J&K UT Ju-Jitsu Championship 2025β26, to be held at Jammu.
The championship proved to be a vital platform for nurturing young talent and played a significant role in the promotion and development of Ju-Jitsu in Jammu District.

9th J&K UT Ju-Jitsu Championship 2024-25 Concludes Successfully
Jammu, March 22, 2025 β The 9th J&K UT Ju-Jitsu Championship 2024-25 concluded on a high note at the Indoor Sports Complex, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu. The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 200 athletes representing 10 districts of Jammu & Kashmir, showcasing their exceptional skills and competitive spirit. The event was organized by the Ju-Jitsu Association of J&K (JJAJK) with the aim of promoting Ju-Jitsu in the region and providing a platform for young athletes to excel in the sport.
The valedictory function was graced by Sh. Dushyant Sharma (SSP, J&K Police & President, J&K Olympic Association) as the Chief Guest. Sh. KC Singh Mehta, Principal of IDPS Akhnoor, attended as the Guest of Honour. Other esteemed dignitaries present included Dr. Navneet Gupta (General Secretary, JJAJK), Mr. Tarsem Sharma (Founder of Ju-Jitsu Sport in J&K), Mr. Amit Singh (Joint Secretary, JJAJK), Mrs. Sunita Badyal (Sports Promoter), Dr. Imran Khan Well known Physiotherapist of J&K , Mr. Ravinder Sharma - Chief Wrestling Coach of J&K , Mr. Muzaffar Ahmed, Mr. Sachin Thakur, Mr. Harsh Vardhan Raina, Mr. Abhay Raina, and Ms. Jaspreet Kaur. The championship was held under the technical supervision of Mr. Danish Sharma, Technical Director of JJAJK, with the assistance of Mr. Rudraksh*t Gupta. Their expertise and leadership ensured the smooth ex*****on of the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Dushyant Sharma praised the efforts of the Ju-Jitsu Association of J&K in promoting the sport and providing a competitive platform for young athletes. He also encouraged participants to continue their dedication to sports and bring laurels to the region. The championship concluded with medal distribution and recognition of outstanding performances by the athletes. The Ju-Jitsu Association of J&K expressed gratitude to all participants, coaches, and officials for their contributions towards making the event a grand success.
