So this goes to the promise I made to myself, to complete a full marathon before my Birthday (April) and yess I did it in the beginning of 2026.
Still processing the fact that I completed those damn 42kms whilst thinking that aim is much bigger than these milers.
It was all cool till 30kms, then came the part of stomach ache which continued till 35kms (probably because of excess of electrolytes), as soon as I touched 36kms along with the company of awesome people *t.thakur1 .maurya89, something took over mind and then I decided to stop only at the finish line.
Not even once the thought of giving up crossed my mind, the mental baggage of only touching 26kms during practice runs followed by self pep talks, all came down to just one thing:
Mindset>>Anything
Cheers to the first and many more to come 🫡

Every step can be a new start if you just trust the process and believe in yourself ✨️
P.s. Guess the peak in Background?

Lighted Kashmir's land draped in a saree carrying Uttarakhandi flame in heart, yup, that's how I will remember this photo always.

Being able to travel and to see our Tiranga flying high in the far flung valleys and himalayan peaks. The long fought Independence and the fight still goes on, being fought by those with or without Uniform 🇮🇳

Getting out of comfort zone and doing things, that is how I intend to live my life as I age (gracefullyor not 😋). This is what sets me free, makes my heart feel young and helps me stand strong, always 😁

In that moment, the clouded thoughts started to disappear and I felt much closer the divine creation, just me and the majestic mountains and the very presence of the creator and the destroyer || Lord Shiva ||

Amarnath Yatra ' 2025, one hell of a Holy Hike when Shiva called me 🙏. I had already planned to cover whole route from Baltal, Sonamarg (northern axis) towards Chandanwari, Pahalgam (southern axis).
The scenic beauty valley has to offer literally took me by surprise and left me with unforgettable memories ❣️

Did we actually lost the "War" against terrorism? Hell No! Do Delhites have the slightest clue what was going to hit Delhi? No. So saying that we lost the war is very demeaning narrative. We are much more capable and we need not show.
Imagine standing strong at 12000 ft+ at such a terrain (pic 1), defending our borders whilst facing natural high altitude problems, less oxygen, cold winds, dropping temperatures, wanting to sleep but alert 24×7, defending nation as well as own life.
We as civilians can only imagine, comment and post on social media, those who have had the chance to visit the areas, know how harsh it is, yet smiling everyday and keeping head high just so we all can sleep properly.
