SHREYAS IYER ON BECOMING NEW T20I CAPTAIN OF INDIA:

- "When I've got this job right now as captain, it's a great challenge. At the same time, I don't have to change my personality. I have to be the same person how I was before and not try to be someone else or be under someone's shadow. I faced a lot of challenges growing up. So my mindset was always about winning against everyone that I challenged".

Shreyas Iyer's jersey number is 96.
If we add 9 + 6, it becomes 15 and interestingly, he is India's 15th T20I captain.
He was also appointed captain on the 6th, which matches his birth date 6 December !!!
