Progress is measured by how simply and effortlessly you can execute complex combinations. There’s little value in doing more complicated moves if they require any pushing, pulling, gripping, or force—it just means “GET UR A** BACK IN THE STUDIO”

One of the clearest signs of an advanced dancer is the ability to say, “I don’t know” and “I need more practice.” Technical growth begins when ego steps aside and learning takes priority.

The higher the level, the greater the awareness of how much there is still to learn ❤️❤️

Happy Birthday Mom my superstar, rockstar, shooting star, morning star, lucky star, all star, soul star, dancing star!

Captain Planet - I love youuuuuuu

Happy Mothers Day CAPTAIN PLANET

To the super woman who has quietly been the backbone of every important decision in my life ❤️

From being my biggest supporter to being my toughest devil’s advocate… from encouraging my wild ideas to questioning them just enough to make sure I thought things through properly — you’ve done it all.

You’ve supported my dance journey with a kind of pride and belief that I don’t think any other can understand. So many of the decisions that shaped my life happened because you asked the right questions at the right time. Your experience, patience and honesty have guided me more than you probably realise.

You’ve been my source of encouragement, my emergency fund, my reality check, my calm during chaos… and honestly, the spine to this body when things felt difficult.

And through all of this, you’ve tolerated my unnecessary snapping, moods and stress with a smile that somehow always knew I’d come around eventually.

Thank you for teaching me honesty, loyalty, truthfulness and strength — not through lectures, but through the way you live your life every single day.

One post could never be enough to say thank you for years of unconditional love and support… but today I just want to say that I see it, I value it, and I’m endlessly grateful for you.

Love you, Mom, aka Captain Planet
