This weekend, the SOFE Weekender brought together our students, coaches, staff and management for a fun-filled game of cricket—and what a day it turned out to be! 👐

Some surprised us with their hidden cricketing skills, some played with pure enthusiasm, and everyone gave it their all. There were big hits, loud cheers, celebrated wickets, plenty of laughter, and most importantly, smiles all around. ❤️

At SOFE, weekends are about more than just football—they're about building friendships, creating memories, and enjoying every moment together. 🤗

Today is one of those moments.

After years of growing up together at SOFE, Tirtha Mondal (U13), Siddhartha Mondal (U13) and Subrata Paik (U16) have been selected for the residential programme of

For many, this may look like a football achievement.
For us, it is the story of three families. 🧑‍🧑‍🧒

Tirtha's father is a homeopathy doctor and his mother is a nurse. Siddhartha's father earns a living pulling a rickshaw and has raised him with remarkable strength after the loss of his mother in 2020. Subrata's father is a vegetable seller while his mother works as a caregiver to support the family.

Different journeys. Different challenges.

One shared dream! 💭

Years ago, these boys arrived at SOFE as young children with a football and a dream. Today, they leave carrying the hopes of their families, coaches, teammates, villages and an entire community that has watched them grow.

At South United FC, they will now have access to quality football development, education, nutrition and a residential environment designed to help them realise their potential. 🙏

We thank the families for their trust, our coaches for years of dedication, and South United FC for opening this door.

We are proud to announce that 3 of our stars are now with South United Sports Schools residential academy.

Coming from humble backgrounds, it is the sheer resilience and hardwork put up by these boys, their parents, the coaches and the well-wishers of SOFE, that we could see them at such a prestigious and fantastic facility.

The kids are now being trained under international grassroots standards, studying at English medium schools and are being socially groomed by the best in the business.

We thank for their scouting team and the continuous support they have provided in looking after our boys!

𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 -
Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday (7:00 am to 9:30 am)

✅To work collectively with other coaches of the academy
✅To organize & attend friendly/competitive matches/tournaments
✅To report to TD
✅To maintain progress report of students as per the existing format
