Today's the day! The 2023 World Seniors and World Mixed Doubles Curling Championships have begun in Gangneung, Korea. Best of luck to all teams competing!
The ice crew has been working hard to bring the ice to life using paints and Easy-In Textile logos. Thanks to Mark Callan and his ice crew for all of their hard work!

Update from USA Senior Nationals:
Ann's and Elizabeth's teams are both in the semifinals, but not against each other. M. Smith (Ann) plays Dukes from Madison and T. Lawless (Elizabeth) play Mariano from Seattle, both at 10 am Saturday.
Sean's team (J. Wright) is in the quarterfinals tonight at 7.
Finals are at 3 Saturday-- all Pacific time.
The winners advance to represent the United States at the World Senior Championships April 22-29, 2023 in Gangneung, Korea.

Last week the Swiss championship of seniors took place in Bern 🥌
In the seniors, the team from CC Solothurn Regio (Christof Schwaller) managed to defend the title, while in the seniors, the team from CC Thun Regio (Monika Gafner) took the title. Both teams will represent Switzerland at the end of April at the World Senior Curling Championships 2023 in South Korea 🌍🇨🇭
A week earlier, the decision was also made in Urdorf on the occasion of the 2nd Veteran SM. 12 teams played for the title. Uzwil 2 (Romano Ruch) secured victory ahead of Schaffhausen (Martin Hottinger) and Cavadürli (Hanspeter Weller).
We congratulate all teams on their excellent performance and thank the local OK's Curling Bern & Curling Club Limmattal for the great SM staging!

Congratulations to Team Lockhart (Aberdeen) and Team Connal (Perth) who are the 2023 Scottish Senior champions and will represent Scotland at the World Senior Curling Championships 2023 in South Korea.
