Urban Cluster Sports Club, Kupwara Launched for Football Development
Kupwara, Jammu & Kashmir – The Department of Youth Services & Sports, Kupwara, is pleased to announce the establishment of the Urban Cluster Sports Club, Kupwara, aimed at promoting football talent and providing quality sports training opportunities to young players.
Heartiest congratulations to Mr. Ovais Ahmad Malik (Rehbar-e-Khel / Physical Education Teacher) on being entrusted with the responsibility of Football Coach/In-Charge of the Urban Cluster Sports Club.
The club offers FREE ADMISSION to all aspiring football players in the age groups of Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 (Boys & Girls). Young football enthusiasts are encouraged to join and take advantage of this excellent opportunity to develop their skills under professional guidance.
The District Youth Services & Sports Officer, Kupwara, will serve as the Nodal Officer of the club and oversee its smooth functioning and development activities.
Registered players will be provided with sports-related facilities, structured coaching sessions, talent identification opportunities, participation in competitions, and a positive environment for overall growth and development in football.

Boys higher secondary Kupwara Hosts Yoga & Mini Marathon Under Nasha Mukt Abhiyan
Kupwara, April 21: A vibrant and impactful programme was successfully organized today at BHSS Ground Kupwara under the banner of the Nasha Mukt Abhiyan Jammu & Kashmir, organized by the Zonal Physical Education Office Kupwara in collaboration with the Directorate of Youth Services & Sports, J&K.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and youth in activities such as a refreshing yoga session and a spirited mini marathon, reflecting a strong message of health, fitness, and a drug-free lifestyle.
The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of the Principal of BHSS Kupwara and the Zonal Physical Education Officer, who encouraged the participants and appreciated their active involvement in such meaningful initiatives.
Addressing the gathering, the speakers highlighted the growing importance of spreading awareness against drug abuse and emphasized the role of youth in building a healthy and progressive nation. They motivated the participants to adopt sports and physical activities as a positive alternative to harmful habits.
