I am a 21 years old short and skinny guy. I have always been bullied in my school days for being short and skinny. Height and weight are always related with your masculinity and feminisim. Tall and broad girls are often commented as "mard lag rahi hai" and guys like me are often bullied with comments like "kudi lag rahi hain". People called me names, people said that he wont be able to get a girl in life, he wont be able to make it big in life with a height of just 5'3ft. "Lak 28 and 47 weight" kind of songs became a constant way to bully me for my classmates.
There were times when i got upset and reacted impulsively to those comments, but in 8th grade I tried to see the reality around me. I saw the list of people excelling their respective feilds to understand whether they faced any problems because of their body or not. And it gave me such a big boost when i saw 8 out of 10 big achievers of my country are short in height. People like sachin tendulkar, Dr APJ abdul Kalam, Dr Pranab Mukherjee all of them were short and skinny. And from that time till today I have always loved my body and whatever god has given me.
Today I live a powerful life, I lead seminars on how to love yourself and I am more successful and powerful than any 6ft tall guy of my age. So to all those short guys out there: You are surely going to get a girl and acheive all you can, dont go for unnatural methods and spoil your body just because someone commented something illogical just to make others laugh.
