What happens when we begin to observe the mind instead of immediately reacting to everything that passes through it?

In Yoga, **Pratyāhāra** is the turning of attention inward. It creates the ground for deeper practices of observation, concentration and meditation.

This two-hour experiential workshop will introduce participants to Pratyāhāra and gradually lead into **Antar Mouna**, the practice of inner silence.

The session will include sensory awareness, an exploration of the relationship between body, breath and mind, the stages of Antar Mouna, and a **25-minute guided Antar Mouna practice**.

What makes an āsana an āsana?

In this video, Sri M reflects on Patañjali’s well-known statement:

“Sthira sukham āsanam.”

An āsana, he explains, is a posture in which there is steadiness, ease and no unnecessary discomfort.

Patañjali’s concern is not simply how the body looks in a posture. The posture has to support what comes next in Yoga: Prāṇāyāma, Pratyāhāra, Dhāraṇā and Dhyāna.

Sri M gives a very practical example. Because of pain in his foot, sitting comfortably on a chair becomes his āsana at that moment, since he can remain there steadily without pain.

The same principle applies to the postures we practise. There is no need to force the body into Padmāsana, or any other posture, if it causes pain.

A meditation posture does not have to look a certain way.

What matters is whether the body can become steady and comfortable enough for the mind to go deeper.

The Bhagavad Gita can be studied in many ways. Sometimes through reading. Sometimes through listening. Sometimes by returning to the same verses again and again until they begin to speak differently.

In this Bhagavad Gita Study Circle, participants will work with selected verses from Chapter 7: Jñāna Vijñāna Yoga, learning to chant them carefully, understand their meaning, and reflect on how the teaching can be lived.

Led by Nithyashree Ganesh, the sessions combine chanting, commentary, discussion and practical reflection.

Led by Nithyashree Ganesh, the sessions focus on careful chanting, pronunciation, rhythm, meaning, and steady repetition. Over time, the practice becomes a space for concentration, devotion and contemplation.

In this video, Sri M speaks about working with thoughts as they arise.

A thought itself may not be under our control. It can appear suddenly, sometimes repeatedly, and at times feel overwhelming.

Through practice, however, we can become more aware of the moment a thought begins to arise.

Sri M explains that this takes time. The mind carries many impulses, desires, reactions and patterns. Observing all of this is a kind of inner experimentation, and it needs the same care and attention we would give to any serious study.

The practice is simple to understand, though not always easy to do: notice the thought as early as possible.

When we begin to catch the thought the moment it “raises its head,” there is a greater possibility of working with it before it gathers force.

As Sri M says, this is something we learn slowly, carefully, through practice.

The earlier we see the thought, the better the chance of addressing it before it takes over.

This Ganesha Chaturthi, let children experience the festival through stories, chanting and creativity.

In this live online Little Yogis Workshop, children will hear engaging stories from Ganesha’s life, learn the Gaṇeśa Pañcaratnam, create their own Ganesha with clay, and end with a simple prayer of gratitude.

It is a gentle introduction to qualities such as wisdom, courage, kindness and focus, while giving children the space to listen, create and enjoy the process.

You can do a posture correctly and still not know what it is doing.

That question turns up in most practices sooner or later, and it does not go away.

We look for the answers in the old texts, verse by verse, in the Nāth tradition.

For thirty days you live on the Madanapalle campus. The day runs from kriyā at five to practice in the evening. There is nothing to commute to and nothing else to manage.

Students on the residential batch also sit with Sri M for sessions on the Yoga Upaniṣads, subject to his availability during the month.

Stay, three sattvic meals a day and the complete student kit are included. Your certificate is printed and presented in person at the closing ceremony.

The whole curriculum is on our website. Every chapter title, before you decide anything.

1 to 30 December 2026. 15% off registrations in INR with code SADHANA15 until 30 September. Link in bio.

Still deciding? Join a free online session with the TTC teachers on 26 September. Write to [email protected].

Ever notice how often you pick up your phone without even meaning to? No real reason, it's just... there in your hand.

That's exactly what this weekend is a break from. At Digital Detox & Inner Recharge, you hand over your phone and any other devices the moment you arrive. No notifications. No scrolling. No half-checking your messages during a conversation. Just you, actually here.

Your mornings start with Pranayama and Hatha Yoga, then Yoga Nidra to help you really rest, and a Q&A session if you want to go deeper into any of it. After that, the day opens up. Nature walks. Time to read or journal without rushing. A few yogic games with people around you. Evening Aarti. Simple, sattvic meals that don't ask anything of you.

Two nights at the Satsang Foundation Ashram in Madanapalle, the ashram founded by Sri M in the Nath tradition.

2 to 4 October 2026. Link in bio for details and registration.

Save this if you've been meaning to unplug for a while.

The Boy Who Believed

A poor mother once told her son a little story, so he wouldn't be afraid to cross a forest alone on his way to school. She told him of a boy who lived deep among the trees, dark skinned, a peacock feather in his hair, always with a flute. "If you're ever scared," she said, "just call him."

She never imagined her son would actually find him.

What followed was a katori of milk that would not stop overflowing, a teacher who refused to believe, and a voice from the sky that reminded everyone present: divinity reveals itself not to those who doubt, but to those pure enough to see.
