The Chandigarh-based academy remained unbeaten throughout the tournament and sealed the title with a dramatic last-minute winner. The victory comes just days after winning the Helsinki Cup, completing an impressive European double.

The achievement is even more special for Northeast India, as a large number of players in the title-winning squad are from the region, including Korou Meitei Khundongbam, Nganba Meitei Khundongbam, Reewan Singh Thounaojam, Paikhomba Khundrakpam, Mekhamkhraw Nongrem, Donald Marthong, Potovei Chapao, Seiminsang Khongsai, Thangsanglen Kipgen, and Wangshem Konyak.
