How to Talk so Kids can Learn ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
The goal of the workshop is to help you communicate more effectively with children. It will introduce to a set of proven skills that will help the participan
ts to:
a. cope with the child's negative feelings (e.g. disappointment, envy, frustration, resentment, anger, etc.) engage the child's willing cooperation,
c. discipline without hurting or alienating,
d. help the child develop a positive and realistic self-image
e. foster a family atmosphere of love and respect. The workshop is designed for parents, teachers, principals, schools, parent’s associations and caregivers of children. HOW MANY SESSIONS:
There are 7 sessions conducted once a week. Each session lasts for about 2.5 to 3 hours. WHAT WILL BE COVERED IN EACH SESSION?
1. HELPING CHILDREN DEAL WITH THEIR FEELINGS: limit unacceptable behavior, and still maintain goodwill.
2. ENGAGING COOPERATION: without threats, warnings, orders, name-calling, sarcasm, lecturing, etc. Five ways to invite cooperation that will leave parents and children feeling good about themselves and each other.
3. ALTERNATIVES TO PUNISHMENT: that will enable parents to express their strong disapproval as well as encourage children to assume responsibility for their behavior.
4. ENCOURAGING AUTONOMY: Specific skills to help children become separate, responsible and selif reliant people who can one day function on their own.
5. PRAISE - An exploration of the kinds of praise that build a positive and realistic self-image, and the kinds that are counter-productive.
6. FREEING CHILDREN FROM PLAYING ROLES: e.g. bully, whiner, dawdler, mischief-maker, etc. Six skills that help children see themselves in a different and more positive light.
7. FINAL REVIEW: "Back-to-life", a chance to consolidate what's been learned by applying all the skills of the previous sessions to current problems with children.

This morning, instead of getting into the usual bath-time battle before school, I tried something different.
I asked myself:
✨What will it take for this to be easy?
Then I gave my son a choice instead of a command.
The result? No struggle. No negotiation. No stress.
Sometimes a different question can create a different possibility.
Have you ever noticed how differently children respond when they're invited to choose?

The last 4.5 days were truly transformational. ✨
I recently completed the Access Consciousness Bars & Foundation Course with , and I honestly feel like so much shifted within me during this journey.
One of the biggest things I’m taking back with me is this:
Everything in life is a choice.
Our point of view creates our reality… and when we change our point of view, we begin to change our life.
Over these few days, I became more aware of how many fears, judgements, beliefs and limitations I had unknowingly made solid and true… and what a gift it is to realise that we can choose something different at any moment. 🌿
Some beautiful reminders I’m carrying with me:
✨ Stay in the question.
✨ Be open to receiving.
✨ Let go of judgements.
✨ Words carry energy.
✨ The more rigid we become, the less space we create for change.
✨ “What else is possible?” can open doors we never imagined.
And perhaps the most freeing realisation of all…
I don’t need to prove who I am or who I am not. I simply get to BE. 🤍
Deep gratitude to for holding such a powerful space of awareness, healing and possibility through these 4.5 days.
Also feeling deeply grateful to now be certified in Access Consciousness Bars and excited to begin facilitating Bars sessions for those who feel called to experience it. ✨
