2025 INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS BY PROUD KIO ATHLETES

1. Won 2 Bronze Medals in Asian Senior Karate Championship by Ms. Bhubaneswari Jadhav and Ms. Alisha at Uzbekistan.
2. ⁠Won Gold Medal in Asian Para Karate Championship by Mr. Tarun Sharma in Uzbekistan.
3. Won 8 Gold, 12 Silver and 17 Bronze medals by KIO athletes including Gold in Sr. Men’s Kumite by Pranay Sharma in Thailand Open Karate Championship at Bangkok.
4. ⁠Won Bronze Medal in WKF Series A Karate Championship by Mr. Naveen at Malaysia.
5. ⁠Won Silver Medal in Asian Junior Karate Championship by Ms. Rusha Tambat at China.
6. ⁠Achieving Overall First position in 9th South Asian Karate Championship by Indian Karste team at Srilanka.
7. Won Bronze medal in 25th Summer Deaflypic by Ms. Loma Swain at Japan.
8. ⁠1 Gold, 1 Silver and 3 Bronze medals won by KIO athletes in 2nd AKF Youth Championship at China.

KIO being the sole representative and affiliated body of World Karate Federation and Asian Karate Federation for the sports of Karate in India is working hard for the promotion and development of Karate with the support of 32 affiliated state units, more than 400 associate members and big number of dedicated Coaches, meritorious players, hard working Referees and loyal and committed federation officials.

We strongly believes that coming year 2026 will bring more success and achievements to the members of our KIO.

We are pleased to announce that the KAM Maharashtra State Karate Championship 2025-26 for Senior & under 21 yrs categories will be held on 17 & 18 January 2026 at District Sports Complex, Wadia Park, Maliwada, Ahilya Nagar, Maharashtra – 414001.

Event Highlights
☑️All Gold Medalists will qualify for the prestigious KIO National Championship 2026.
☑️5% Maharashtra Government Sports Reservation available for Senior Category Medalist Players.
