Chanting in the OT
I had to undergo a C-Section due to medical complications. I stayed grounded, mindful of my state of mind, knowing my emotions directly touched my baby.
Throughout the procedure, I kept chanting… so much so that even my doctor asked if I was still chanting. And when our goddess, our daughter, was placed in our arms… her very first words from us were chants.
One more reason she is spiritually inclined.

Relaxation Rituals Before Bedtime During Pregnancy
Pregnant mamas, do you struggle to unwind at night? Your body is working overtime, and bedtime should feel like a sanctuary, not a struggle.
Simple relaxation rituals can transform your evenings.
• Digital Detox Before Sleep
• Write down gratitude or positive affirmations to ease worries.
• Start with gentle prenatal stretches to release tension.
• Add deep breathing—inhale calm, exhale stress.
• Create a soothing environment: dim lights, calming scents, calming music, gentle head/ foot/ back massage by your partner.
• Listen to guided meditations or Yog Nidra.
These small rituals signal your body it’s safe to rest, helping you sleep better and wake up refreshed.

Pregnancy didn’t stop our love for travel—it simply reshaped it.
Me and my hubby love road trips When we found out I was expecting, we spoke to my doctor and learned how to make road trips safe and joyful. Shorter routes, frequent breaks, mindful walks, staying hydrated, and lots of rest became our new rhythm.
With these small adjustments, every journey felt possible. And now, our little one has inherited the same travel bug—she never wants the adventure to end!
My message to every mom-to-be: Travel is possible during pregnancy with the right precautions and medical guidance.
Listen to your body, consult your doctor, and embrace the journey safely.

My Postpartum Weight Loss Journey
Pregnancy added 9 kilos to my body. In the first few weeks, some of it naturally melted away, but the real transformation unfolded over the next 7–8 months. By the time my daughter turned one, I was back to my original weight—without shortcuts, just consistency.
Yoga was my anchor. Not just asanas, but mind management, pranayama, and mindful eating.
Having had a C-section, I waited three months before stepping back on the mat, and by the fifth month, I was teaching yoga again. Slowly, I resumed all my batches, balancing motherhood and my passion.
It may sound effortless, but behind the scenes was consistent effort, discipline, and self-belief.
My message to every new mother: eat wholesome food, move your body after medical clearance, and keep your mind positive and calm. The journey may feel slow, but with patience and consistency, your body and spirit will find their balance again.

My C-Section Recovery
I had to undergo a C-section due to medical complications. But my yoga practice became my greatest ally.
Even after the anaesthesia wore off, I felt no pain from the stitches. By the third evening, I was discharged. The very next morning, I was able to sit on a low stool (patla) and bathe my baby—without discomfort.
Right up until the day before my hospital admission, I was on the mat, moving gently, staying connected to my breath and body.
My biggest learning: Keep moving during pregnancy (with medical clearance). Yoga doesn’t just keep you fit—it helps you heal faster post-delivery.
To all new moms: your body is powerful, resilient, and capable of incredible recovery. Just believe in yourself.

My Daughter’s Spiritual Inclination
During my pregnancy, I made it a ritual to chant mantras—while walking, after pranayama, or even while resting. These sacred vibrations infused me with deep mental, emotional, and spiritual strength, and they also nurtured my baby’s inner world.
The impact was profound. From a very early age, my daughter displayed a natural spiritual inclination—she even chants certain mantras herself. This is a living example of how the impressions (sanskaras) formed in the womb shape a child’s personality and values.
My message to expectant mothers: Practice Garbh Sanskar during pregnancy. The womb is the first classroom, and every thought, sound, and ritual you embrace imprints on your baby. By cultivating positive sanskaras, you are shaping not just their health, but their character and spiritual foundation from the very beginning.

How Yoga Empowered My Pregnancy Journey
Throughout my pregnancy, I not only taught yoga but also remained deeply committed to my personal practice. This devotion gifted me a pain-free experience—no backaches during pregnancy, post-delivery, or even through the long hours of nursing my baby.
Pranayama became my anchor, keeping me calm and centered on challenging days, while chanting infused me with profound mental, emotional, and spiritual strength.
Yoga was more than movement; it was a sanctuary that helped me dissolve fear and anxiety, replacing them with trust, resilience, and joy. It transformed my journey into motherhood into one of grace, strength, and serenity.
