I admit, that Europa League loss still rattles me so it will be ever so satisfying seeing their downfall this season.

Only those who don’t remember 2008, 2013 & 2018 transfer windows will call 2026 transfer window as the worst ever in our history. Yes, INEOS made huge mistakes in not getting us a left back & striker but our midfield is looking solid after a very long time.

One thing I would recommend INEOS is to let go of their arrogance and for god’s sake keep your mouth quiet and just do things as they should be done.

Our season now depends on Michael Carrick & his ability to get the best out of this squad. Lets Go United 🔴🔱

Utter lack of intent from INEOS in this window 🤦‍♂️

If things go wrong later this season, don’t put ALL the blame on Michael Carrick.

We desperately needed a starting left-back and backup striker, and the board knew it.

Carrick can only work with the squad he’s given. If those weaknesses cost us, a BIG part of the responsibility has to fall on INEOS and the board

The gambles INEOS and the board have taken with Manchester United’s season:

• Not adding a LB for depth when their only natural LB is injury prone.
• Not adding a LB for quality when their only LB has started the season poorly.
• Not adding a LB when the current LB does not support our LW’ers well and only managed 9 successful crosses last season.
• Adding a midfielder that had a poor season and hoping it was a one off
• Not adding a CB despite multiple CB’s being injury prone.
• Not adding a striker, despite only having ONE natural striker, who is young and new to English football.

All of this risk in a heavy season where we’ll be playing twice a week and meant to be entering competitions with the intention to win. It’s simply unacceptable.
