Rain in Swati Nakshatra
Hello friends, I hope you are all well and doing good.
I am in Mumbai, and it is raining cats and dogs here!
It rained heavily throughout the night, with strong winds. My window was constantly blowing and making noise, and this morning, as a habit, I checked the planetary transits.
And suddenly, a realisation struck me…
Today is the Navami of Gupt Navratri. Mercury is just about to turn direct. There has been heavy rain, accompanied by strong winds. And the Moon is in Swati Nakshatra!
I immediately felt… this is a very mystical and special combination. Nature seems to be telling us something.
Swati is connected with Vayu the wind, movement, freedom and change. The wind moves the clouds… the clouds bring rain… and the rain nourishes the Earth.
There is also a beautiful traditional symbolism associated with Swati rain — the raindrop that enters the right vessel is said to transform into a pearl.
And perhaps this is a deep message for us too…
The same experience can break one person, awaken another, and completely transform someone else.
The difference is often not the rain. It is the vessel that receives it.
During Mercury retrograde, I have also seen many clients experience sudden disruptions — unexpected health issues, anxiety, confusion, communication problems, delays, financial complications and situations that seem to appear out of nowhere.
Mercury turning direct represents a gradual movement out of this phase, but sometimes the mind, body and life need time to settle and regain their rhythm.
This is where today's energy can be used consciously.
1. Swati Rainwater Prayog
Collect a small quantity of clean rainwater and preserve it respectfully in a clean vessel. Such water can be used in certain traditional practices connected with purification, Devi, Lakshmi and abundance. The intention is to consciously receive and preserve what nature is giving instead of allowing it to simply flow away.
2. Lakshmi & Abundance Prayog
This is an excellent time to work with the symbolism of flow — money, opportunities, health, energy and relationships. A simple Lakshmi-oriented practice can be done with rainwater, a lamp and a conscious sankalpa for removing stagnation and restoring healthy flow in life.
3. Healing & Release Prayog
Rain is also a powerful symbol of cleansing. Use this time to consciously identify one old fear, emotional pattern, belief or painful memory that you are ready to release. Sometimes the real blockage is not outside us but hidden deep within the subconscious mind.
And this is where the deeper work begins.
Because sometimes, despite prayers, remedies and rituals, something continues to remain stuck.
The reason may be an unresolved emotional experience, an old subconscious pattern or a memory that the conscious mind has forgotten but the body and nervous system still remember, and I as a Regression Therapist & Trauma Healer understand this better.
Just as rain nourishes dry land, the right healing process can reach those forgotten parts of our inner world and begin a completely different kind of transformation.
So today, as the winds move, the rain falls, Gupt Navratri concludes and Mercury prepares to move direct, perhaps take a moment to ask yourself:
What in my life needs to move?
What needs to be cleansed?
What needs to be released?
And what do I finally want to allow to grow?
There are some very interesting Swati Rain, Lakshmi and healing-related Prayog connected with this energy. I have intentionally not shared the complete process here because the right practice depends upon the person's intention and situation.
But I can say is that if it is raining in your place, then just go out and wet yourself a little bit with this Swati water.... Connect to the Nature, and make an intention, a pure & deep intention, intention 9f what you want in life, how you want to move forward, what do you want to manifest..
Please comment from where you are located, and whether it is raining there or not?
Sometimes nature gives us a sign. Sometimes the timing is not a coincidence.
And sometimes… we simply need to become quiet enough to notice.
