Another one bites the dust...
Built With A Sense of The Elements. Nature is both cause and effect
It is un-created but creates
It is indestructible but mutable.
Nature and it's elements is what inspires us. The first and at the moment, the only skateboard company in India - pretty stoked to say that. We make hand crafted boards using locally sourced Indian wood and want to try and bring the feeling of surfing a wave onto concrete. We've been doing our research and tests - Different shapes, different materials and a lot of different techniques. And we hav

After all that procrastinating... It's good to step out into the light again!
I've been finishing up all my orders but just haven't had the inclination to post stuff up.

Was pondering and have been wondering about what I've done over the years this full week... And just realized that this on the right marks my board!
Pretty stoked and happy for that - it's not been easy - custom boards, especially diy pressing and handcrafted cost much more than your regular skateboards which are being imported from China.
But I've stuck to it and have only been getting better and am honing my craft!
Knowing I'm the only one in India making boards scares me a little and also excites me! I still remember the first board I pressed with my buddy Lukas. Then the 5th by my self and I thought that was a pinnacle moment. But the stoke just keeps growing with every board. Failures have been huge motivations to make better boards and everyone who's ordered a board or even supported me by their kind praises have brought me here and I feel humbled.
Yeewww! Thank you everyone, I wouldn't be doing or couldn't keep doing what I'm doing today if it weren't for all of you'll!

September has been a busy month with pressing and shaping these custom orders.
A little more sanding and finishing and these boards will soon be with their stoked owners! .

Wow, I just watched this incredible video about incredible things happening in my country!
Janwar Castle is a initiative located in a small village called Janwar which is in Madhya Pradesh. It's the largest skatepark in India which was built with the intention of social change.
When I first started making skateboards 3 years ago, I used to just hand out boards to people I connected with and over the 3 years, I've donated around 23 boards! This is what made me happy, sharing my love for something that someone didn't have and to see that smile on a kids face when he realises - damn, this guy actually just gave me his board - it's priceless. Some of my boards are all around the coast, mainly in fishing villages because I would carry one every time I went surfing.
But I think it's time I start making trips inland!

A little peak into what I've been working on for the last week...

My weekend was incredibly fun and crafty! Here's the new board on which I'll be doing some really time consuming but yet, extremely meditative work! Its been quite a challenge with a decent learning curve figuring this design. I've already spent over 10 hours just prepping the artwork or design that will go on this. Can't wait to see how this one turns out...
