Aman Day Care Centre, which is a creche facility running for children of construction workers, is one of the fruits of our collective efforts. Around 70 children in the range of age from few months old to 14 years old attend the centre, where they get safe shelter when their parents are at construction sites, nutritious diet, education, and of course friends and toys to play. Children above 5 years are admitted to a formal school (Powai Municipal School) by orienting their parents about the importance of formal education. Currently through the day care centre, we have admitted nearly 30 children to Powai municipal school.
