Why is Shavasana the most difficult pose? π€
Although it looks easy, Shavasana (Co**se Pose) is the most difficult of the asanas because the art of relaxation is harder than it looks.
Shavasana is a practice of gradually relaxing one body part at a time, one muscle at a time, and one thought at a time. When you do this practice day after day, it conditions the body to release stress.
The essence of Co**se Pose is to relax with attention. In other words, to remain conscious and alert while still being at ease.
Benefits of Shavasana :-
1. Calms the mind and reduces stress.
2. Calms central nervous system, aiding the digestive and immune systems.
3. Helps lower blood pressure.
One must never skip Shavasana. It should be done for 10-15 mins before ending your yoga practice. π§π»ββοΈ
