SAE S.B. Jain Collegiate Club

SAE stands for "Society of Automotive Engineers'. SAE SBJITMR strives to give opportunities to students regarding the Automotive world.

We are a young but successfully running club of SBJITMR. The club has gained the stature of being the 'Official Automobile Club' of the college. Started by a group of automobile enthusiasts, the club has grown to involve people from almost all the branches, including Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering and in the events. The club is also one of the fastest growing clubs of SBJITMR in terms of participation in events and workshops.

The opening ceremony of SAE Collegiate club was held on 14/09/2017. Principal Dr. S.L Badjate, HOD Prof. Amit Bankar,Prof V.M Suple, Prof. Faisal Hussain,Prof R. Bijwe, Mr. Musharaf Pathan were the guests for the day. The installation started with the welcome of all the respected dignitaries. Then the journey of SAE Collegiate Club was presented by Mr. Himanshu Gotmare. The office bearers President Mr. Sanket Moriya, Vice-President Mr. Shantanu Bankar, Treasurer Mr. Anmol Arora, Documentation Head Mr. Karunesh Kadwe, Media Head Mr. Vivek Gurve, Advisory Board Mr. Vaibhav Rokde, Mr. Saurabh Nimje, Mr. Yash Cham & Mr. Shardul Bopulkar were presented their badges by the hands of Principal S.L Badjate & Prof. V.M Suple. Then a presidential speech was given by Mr. Sanket Moriya. Further more, the first president Mr. Musharaf Pathan motivated everyone with his enthusiastic words. In the last session, certificates were presented to the participants of various events organized by The SAE Collegiate Club. The vote of thanks was presented by Mr. Anmol Arora.

SUPRA SAEINDIA 2017 was a great learning experience for us, it was something which we could not have gained for classroom teaching alone.
