The week that was *Drushti*
YFY sessions are always soulful, absorbing, fascinating .... This week provided in-depth understanding on *Seeing & Drushti* The screen too had alot of explanation on *Drushti*
The breathing exercises were intense due to demanding postures and mudras. With changing season *Bhastrika-Dhokan* are back again.
The regular statement *yoga is an experiential science* holds lot of weightage in YFY as time and again one is made to experience the explanations provided. This week clarity to kapal bhati on speed was shown:: breathing fast-moderately-slow I.e stomach chest throat.
Elevator & step method breathing was novel. It prompted control on exhale.
Sukshm kriya & asanas were
performed as an extension of Suryanamaskar. This process too brought more clarity & understanding.
Friday YFY had the privilege of hosting *Yogacharya Dr. Ramkrishna Thavkar & his online participants* which indeed was a pleasant surprise!
Shavasana at times can be replaced by *Vajra asan/ lying in Balyasan*.This awareness was brought forth this week.
Saturday Session had some extraordinary energy throughout the asanas.
Dhyan began with the *Drushti* on heart, radiating celestial light that travelled both inside/outside, spreading positive energy.
Ghyan: going down in reverence to mother earth is learning humility. As she is the supporter of life on earth.
Signing off :looking forward to yet another scintillating week! 🙏🙏

The week that was:*pravas*
During Winters more urja is required. So the session this week had everything to do with retention & generation of energy. *"Dhokan kriya during winters is not encouraged because we don't want to release energy"*(Ma'am)
The postures & mudras enhanced the effect of breathing techniques.
Sukshm kriya plus Asanas were amazingly choreographed to cater to every atom in the body. Slight variations can make immense difference is what one gets to understand during this one hour of 🧘♀️.
Pressure points from head to toe were once again addressed. Though one is expected to do them regularly but it hardly happens other than in the sessions.
Chanting makar, separate aa- oo- m, onkar resonated throughout the week. Providing symphony within & around.
*"during margh shish Maas one must chant makar 21 times to retain & generate energy"*(Ma'am)
Yoga coming with such words of wisdom makes this platform indispensable.
Suryanamaskar keeps surprising with variations added to it. Mantra adds that extra zing .
One cannot ignore the extra effort put in by Sir providing clarity to *pravas* that one came across every day when connecting with the password.👏👏👏👏
*"We endure darkness only to realise the twinkling of the stars"*(Sir) Gyan!!!
*Dhyan* is one segment that participants wait for & the wait is worth. This week ma'am shifted the scene to snow clad pine trees. Walking in the white pristine soft snow and creating foot prints on the way & coming face to face with the divine energy was overwhelming.
Signing off for the last time in the year 2023. 🙏🙏
