Happy International Women's Day! Meet Aarti, pictured here in the red shawl. She, like so many millions of other women, is responsible for all things water related in her home. With 8 family members, keeping things clean and healthy is a time consuming, exhausting effort. Since adopting a FlowTank, water use and storage have become simple enough that everyone in the home has been lending a hand, and Aarti has been able to spend less time in the house, and more time doing things that are important to her, like visiting family!

Clean water should be accessible to kids wherever they are, whether they're learning, eating, or playing. With the help of NGOs like .org.in and the donors that support them, we can make that a reality.

Today we visited Sharmila at an Angan Wadi (pre-school) in Jaihind Camp. She and the kids are pretty excited to use the Flow Pressure Tank to wash their hands @ Madina Masjid

Today is World Population Day. This day aims to increase awareness on various population issues such as the importance of family planning and gender equality. Running water is an issue that has grown along with the increasing global population. There are over 2 billion people lacking access to running water. Pictured here is one of many families that tested our tank during the team’s recent trip to India. We believe the tank can ease the daily burden of retrieving and storing water for this family and millions of others across India.

We are inspired by change. We know that we have the ability to positively affect the way families around the world interact with water. Conversations with women like Shakuntla (pictured here on the left) help us improve our solutions by focusing on what matters to the end user.

Meet Shakuntla and Sarvati, two women from Vasant Kunj in New Delhi. They walk 1 km to the nearest water source 3-5 times a day. On each trip, they carry 20 to 40 liters of water. These women are just one example of how our tanks can influence positive change within a community.
