By consuming 25-30g of lean protein per meal, you feel FULL, have REDUCED hunger which leads to a REDUCED caloric intake. Take for example, the study explained here. It took place on two groups of overweight men who were to consume energy-restriction diets with 25% protein vs 14% protein, for a period of 12 weeks. On observation, the group that consumed a higher amount of protein, experienced greater fullness throughout the day along with lower late-night desire to eat & preoccupation with thoughts of food!

If we were to write a long caption about nutritional sciences, chances are you’ll scroll through & read the next post that talks about “5 best teas for weight loss” & wonder why your goals aren't being met! We get it.
BUT at a time when most of our knowledge about things comes from right here through Instagram, we’ve got to tell you something important. So, hear us out.
The hype is NOT REAL! Our focus is being driven to things that barely matter, to create irrational fears around food and nutrition . We want to bring your focus to what’s important and what works, through Evidence 🔍 (meticulous studies that are backed by a ton of corresponding data) So you don’t have to believe someone’s word, or a branded Instagram post telling you how eating 25g of dates is ‘healthier’ than honey because they give you 2% of your Daily requirement of Magnesium?!? Or comparing their glycemic indexes, that are barely different and barely matter because products are made with more ingredients than a sweetener in varying quantities with different glycemic indexes.
