BIKER'S UPDATE: This is to inform all bikers. In recent developments all motorcycles will now need a permit to cross Rohtang Pass to enter Lahaul, Spiti & Ladakh. To obtain the permit you need to fill up a form and submit it along with xerox copy of your drivers license, registration certificate of motorbike & PUC certificate and submit it at the SDM office in Mall Road, Manali. SDM office is open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The permit is free of cost.
