We are a group of enthusiastic, fun loving and dedicated engineers and architects. Each one of us is a working professional in some design consultancy. This is an attempt at utilizing our spare time, a little productively. We wish to bridge the gap between what you are taught in your lectures (often boring) and what you actually have to perform at your workplace, sometimes soon, hopefully.
It is only logical to learn engineering from engineers and not from some IT guy who is trained in using software. The present and the future of engineering is in Software, regardless of whatever field of engineering you are in. We wish to provide you not just software training, but a hands on experience on actual projects we are working on along with some fine tuning of the engineering concepts that you learnt (or may be didn’t) in your curriculum. We also wish to teach you, your regular engineering subjects, if you feel that you need that extra revision that you could not do in your semester.
Software Training
STAAD: Structural Analysis and Design software. This one is most popular. You probably already know about it.
ETABS: Structural Analysis and Design software dedicated to building design.
SAFE: Software for Analysis and Design of foundations, flat slabs etc.
SAP: Structural Analysis and Design software for multiple purposes.
Bridge: Structural Analysis and Design of Bridges and Flyovers.
AutoCAD: Computer Aided Design software for drafting and detailing. Used for preparation of drawings.
MS Excel: Software for preparation of design calculations, BOQ, Bar Bending Schedule, Billing, Estimation etc.
MS Project: Software for project management, scheduling, costing, planning and control.
Primavera: Software for project management, scheduling, costing, planning and control.
MS Office: Complete office suite including Word, Power Point & Excel.
