Every Sunday, Grandma cooked the same family dinner.
The recipes never changed.
The love never changed.
But the number of people at the table did.
Six became four.
Four became two.
And one Sunday, she found herself eating alone.
Yet she still set six plates.
"Just in case," she said with a smile.
Have you ever missed a family gathering and regretted it later?

A grandmother stood in a store with only $20 in her purse.
She picked up bread.
Then she put it back.
She picked up milk.
Then she put it back.
Finally, the cashier asked,
"Ma'am, are you okay?"
She smiled and said,
"I'm trying to decide whether I should feed my stomach today...
or my worries about tomorrow."
What would you do?

An old grandmother was once asked what the hardest part of aging was.
People expected her to say money.
Instead, she said,
"Money can buy food.
But it cannot make your children visit."
She wasn't crying because she was poor.
She was crying because nobody asked how she was doing.
What do you think hurts more: being poor or being forgotten?
