The idea was to provide such work that women can easily do. Most woman in villages stitch Godhadi. B In Villages people face many basic problems.

In villages people’s main source of income is through agriculture, which is seasonal. Some months they don’t have work and hence don't earn any money. Looking at this situation, an idea came in my mind to provide work to women in villages. The idea was to provide such work that they can easily do, they don’t have to spend money for that, can do from home, and don't need electricity or water. The

When you teach good traditional Godhadi maker women modern light weight & disgner Godhadi making, guide them in purchasing of raw material to marketing.is really a happy moment to teach them. Inspire to them to come in professional business of quilting, present their art & have a good livelihood life.

Godhadi training, a flagship project of Rotary club of Pune Kataraj, was executed at Kavthe Village,Taluka Khandala, District Satara by President Rtn. Kirti Bhansali. Women from 10 bachat gats undertook the training. This vocational skill will enable the women to become independent for their livelyhood.
