आज माँ ने वहाँ से फोन किया...

आज का दिन खास है – माँ .kare.5 का जन्मदिन। और इस बार, वो घर पर नहीं हैं, वो वहाँ हैं, जहाँ मैंने उन्हें भेजा था – खुद के लिए, सिर्फ़ खुद के लिए। सुबह-सुबह उनका फोन आया, और उनकी आवाज़ में जो सुकून था, वो मैंने पहले कभी नहीं सुना था।

“ऐसा लग रहा है जैसे स्वर्ग में हूँ!” उन्होंने हँसते हुए कहा।
कोई टेंशन नहीं – न पापा की दवाई की, न कुक को क्या बोलना है, न बिट्टू के कनाडा से फोन का इंतज़ार, न नाती-पोतों की फ़िक्र। Ayurvedic massages kitni relaxing hai aur food so delicious 😌बस मैं और मेरी खुशी!

और मैं मुस्कुरा दी। क्योंकि यही तो मैं चाहती थी – एक दिन, जो सिर्फ़ उनका हो।

ये मेरी ही कहानी है। मेरी माँ, जो हमेशा घर-परिवार, बच्चों और ज़िम्मेदारियों में उलझी रही, कभी खुद के लिए नहीं जी पाई। हमेशा दूसरों के लिए सोचा, खुद के बारे में शायद ही कभी। और जब मैंने सोचा कि उन्हें अकेले ट्रिप पर भेजूं, तो पहला ख्याल यही आया –
पापा मानेंगे? क्या माँ अकेले रह पाएंगी? क्या वो खुद को मैनेज कर पाएंगी?

मैंने भी कभी अपनी माँ को कमज़ोर समझा था। मुझे लगता था कि वो अपने फैसले खुद नहीं ले सकतीं, कि वो अकेले नहीं रह सकतीं। लेकिन असल में, कमज़ोर वो नहीं थी – हम थे, जो ये मान बैठे थे कि वो अकेले कुछ कर ही नहीं सकतीं।

जब मैंने उनके लिए ek Ayurvedic रिट्रीट बुक किया, तो कई लोगों ने पूछा – अकेली? कैसे संभालेंगी?
लेकिन मैंने सोचा – पूरी ज़िंदगी उन्होंने हमें संभाला, अब क्या खुद को नहीं संभाल पाएंगी?
And when she video called me from there , तो उनके चेहरे पर जो चमक थी, वो शब्दों में बयां नहीं कर सकती। उन्होंने ज़िंदगी में पहली बार कुछ सिर्फ़ अपने लिए किया।
आज मुझे यकीन हो गया – हम सब सर्वाइव कर सकते हैं, सब कुछ मैनेज हो सकता है। लेकिन माँ को भी अपने लिए जीने का हक़ है।
और हाँ,my fellow moms who are reading this , तुम माँ हो, लेकिन क्या ये तुम्हारी माँ पर भी लागू नहीं होता?
एक ब्रेक तो बनता है – सिर्फ़ तुम्हारे लिए ही नहीं, तुम्हारी माँ के लिए भी।

Best part was her experience at everyone made her feel safe , happy and gave her all the attention and pampering .
So yes “the Queen is Queening 🥰
