1 नवंबर 2000 — यह तारीख सिर्फ़ राज्य गठन की नहीं, बल्कि नई सोच के जन्म की है।
मध्यप्रदेश से अलग होकर बना छत्तीसगढ़, आज अपने 25वें वर्ष में है — एक ऐसा प्रदेश जिसने संस्कृति, संसाधन और सतत विकास तीनों में भारत को नई दिशा दी।

कभी “दक्षिण कोसल” कहलाने वाला यह क्षेत्र “छत्तीसगढ़” नाम इसलिए पाया क्योंकि यहाँ 36 प्राचीन गढ़ (forts) थे — एकता और संरचना का प्रतीक।
आज यह प्रदेश भारत के आत्मनिर्भरता मिशन का एक मजबूत स्तंभ बन चुका है।
