Pragati College Of Education Cricket Academy

On the occasion of Special Talk Session organized by the IQAC of Pragati College of Education, Siliguri, on 18th April 2026 for the students of B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. programmes. The session focused on two highly relevant themes: “Developing a Positive Mindset for Resilience and Growth in Teaching” and “Goal Setting: A Roadmap to Professional Progression and Effective Teaching.”
The resource person for the session was Mr. Debopam Sarkar, a BCCI & ECB Level-2 Certified Cricket Coach and Visiting Faculty at the Coaches’ Education BCCI Centre of Excellence (CoE). His rich professional experience and dynamic approach made the session highly engaging and insightful.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Biswajit Biswas, Principal of the institution, and was coordinated by Ms. Pallavi Bhowmik, Programme Coordinator. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from trainee teachers, who actively engaged in discussions and interactive segments.
Mr. Sarkar emphasized the importance of cultivating a positive mindset as an essential quality for educators to navigate challenges and foster resilience in both personal and professional contexts.
