National Pencak Silat Championships Concludes After Three Days
Baramulla Pencak Silat Association Baged Three Gold and Two Bronze Medals

Nida e Kashmir /Haryana : The Junior, Sub Junior and Pre teen national Pencak Silat Championships concludes in haryana on 27 of December 2021 which was jointly
organised by Pencak Silat Association Haryana under the aegis of Indian Pencak Silat Federation and under the banner of Ministry of Youth affairs and sports, Govt of India and Sports authority of India Jammu and Kashmir Sports CouncilYouth Services & Sports J&KManoj SinhaSports Nippon MagazineKhelo IndiaJammu. This year’s edition of the Pencak Silat Nationals was held from December 24th to 27th with participation of 1,700 players from 29 states and Union Territories in the tournament which include both boys and girls. Tournament was held at the M.D University, Rothak Haryana . Capt Manoj, IAS, Deputy commissioner, Rothak was the Chief guest on the closing ceremony and distribution of medals was made by the chief guest,
Kishor Prakash Yewale, President, Indian Pencak Silat Federation, M***i Hamid Yasin Secretary General Mohammad Iqbal, Coach Team India , Irfan Aziz Botta, Treasurer, Indian Pencak Silat Federation
Himanshu Grover , Politician , Tirath Rana , President Haryana Pencak Silat Association, Davender Singh Dhul, Director Sports MD University and other officers and officials were also present on the occasion.


Jammu and Kashmir teams performed well and emerged overall champions, winners from the 29 states while Haryana emerged as the runners up overall in the championship and Maharashtra stood on the 3rd place in the total medal tally. At the occasion well performing players were taken the radar for the Indian national camps for the forthcoming Asian , World and other International tournaments in coming months.


Pencak Silat Championships Baramulla included it’s five participants. Zaid Bin Nabi, Iqad Alali, Shabnum Tariq, Reyan Bin Riyaz, Dabeer Bhat, Arsalan Firdous, Sheikh Mohammed Ibrahim in the event. Among the five participants Association Baged three and two bronze medals as well. Association authorities,Firdousa Nabi(president ) Jabeena Akhter (National awardee general secretary )vice president (Gulshan Ara) joint secretary (shahnaz Ahmad waza) patron (Mohammad Muzaffar Malla) trainer (Tanveer Ahmad) congratulated the participants for their outstanding performance.

*Sopore Police flagged off a team of Martial Arts.*

Sopore, 19 December 2021:

On the directions of SP Sopore Shri. Sudhanshu Verma-IPS in a bid to improve police public relations a martial art team was flagged off by SDPO Sopore Shri. Furkan Qadir-JKPS alongwith SHO Sopore Insp. Khalid Fayaz and SHO Bomai Insp. Imtiaz Ahmad to play in different parts of the country. In this connection a small token was presented by Sopore Police to the participants. This an ongoing part of an allover effort by Sopore Police to improve sports culture in Police District Sopore and resolve for drug free Sopore.

Today on 13th December 2021 SDPO Sopore Mr. Furkan sir visited REHMAT-E-AALAM SPORTS ACADEMY SEELU SOPORE and interacts with National selected Athletes with his kind heart.SDPO Sopore Mr. Furkan sir commented the management & students for his respective support at in the every corner of the sport's World.

Winner's of district wushu Championship Baramulla.

District Wushu association Baramulla organised 21st championship at Govt Degree college Baramulla on 23/11/2021.
Mr Bashir Ahmad Bhat (Joint. Sectary sports council J and K) was invited as a chief guest and inaugurated the championship at 11.30am Positively.Bhat SB. Commented all the couches as well as Athelets for his full support at the every corner in the sports field.

Jammu & Kashmir Organised its 6th Pencak Silat Championship at Indoor Sports Complex Polo Ground Srinagar for 3 days which saw participation from around 16 districts of the UT. The Aim of the championship is that youth should be fit mentally as well as physically and provide them a plateform to achieve their goals.
Over 16 districts of Jammu and Kashmir with more than 600 youngsters have participated in the game.
Minister of State for Sports and youth Affairs & Home government of India Nisith pramanik facilitie Pencak Silat Medalists during ongoing 3 day's 6th state level Pencak Silat Championship 2021.
Athletes From Rehmat-e-Aalam Sports Academy Seelo Sopore who brought 16 Medals in state level championship. Shabnam Tariq, Arsalan Firdous, Sheikh Mohammad Ibrahim,Iqad Alavi,Bhat Dabeer,Bhat faizan-ul-haq,Afreen Firdous, Shaita, Harie Jaan,Sahil Majeed, Falak Younis, Mohammad Murshid,Basit Akbar, Iqra Manzoor,Ansa Majid & Mir Aatif.
Meanwhile General Secretary Pencak Silat Association Baramulla (Jabeena Akhter), Petron Pencak Silat Association Baramulla (Mohammad Muzaffar Malla) & Chief Coach (Tanveer Ahmad sheikh) congratulated Athletes for this remarkable achievement.

District Baramullah Pencak silat championship concluded yesterday (10/08/2021) at Rehmat-e-Aalam Sports Academy Seelo organized by District Baramullah Pencak Silat Association . More then hundred Athletes both boys and girls of different age groups like; Sub-juniors, Juniors, Seniors & Masters participated in 1st ever District Baramullah pencak silat championship. On Closing ceremony chief guest Shri.Sudanshu Verma (SP Sopore), Guest of honour was Raja Majid( SDPO Sopore) , Khalid Fayaz (SHO Sopore) , Tawseef Raina ( President, Municipal Council, Baramullah), Sports Manager,Baramullah J&K, Gh. Hassan (Incharge Sopore Stadium) ,Firdosa Mam ( Prisedent Pencak Silat Association Baramullah) Jabeena Akhter ( General Secretary Pencak Silat Association Baramullah),
Mohammed Muzaffar Malla (Chairman Rehmat-e-Aalam Educational Trust Seelu) . Rehmat-e-Aalam Sports Academy Seelo Grabbed First position in the championship. Chief Guest shri. Sudanshu Verma appreciated the athletes , officials & organising committee for this event.

Rehmat-e-Aalam Sports Academy Seelo Sopore have bagged First position in BAHAR AHARBAL EVENT OF MARTIAL ARTS 2021-2022 Championship held at Aharbal Kulgam, from 29th to 31th July.
