The Wular Cricket League (WCL) management had a productive meeting with Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore, Shri. Shabir Ahmad Raina-JKAS, to discuss sports-related issues in the area. The ADC assured full support and appreciated management WCL's efforts in engaging youth through sports.

The ADC also congratulated management WCL on successfully concluding edition 2nd 2025, recognizing the positive impact of their initiatives on the community. This collaboration highlights the importance of sports in promoting youth development and social welfare.

Jammu and Kashmir is a young and dynamic region, and while our youth face many challenges, it’s truly inspiring to see how local organizers are stepping up! In the absence of strong government support, they are creating incredible platforms to engage and empower our youth through sports.

A big shoutout and heartfelt thanks to Gulzar Ahmad, the spirited organizer of the Wular Cricket League 2025 final match, for inviting me and allowing me to be part of such thrilling and memorable moments of cricket at Amberpora, Sopore.
