Charita Phanindranath clocks 26.04s to set a new Women’s 50m Freestyle National Record at the Junior National Aquatics Championships, Bhubaneswar 2026.

She breaks the previous record of 26.23s, held by Rujula Shashidhara.

16-year-old swimmer Tanisha Gupta clocked 1:03.36 in the women’s 100m backstroke to set a new national record at the Junior National Aquatics Championships 2026 in Bhubaneswar. She shaved 0.12 seconds off Maana Patel’s previous mark of 1:03.48, set in 2023.
