This is the 3 type of Prasarita Padottanasana.In this position we have to interlock the hands back and bring the hands towards the ground.It engages the upper back muscles and the shoulder muscles.It strengthens and stretches the inner legs as well as the back of the legs. It also stretches the spine. It is known to relieve a mild backache.
