๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ Like me, are you also finding it hard to follow your fitness routineโ“

Yes, you read that correctly. It was difficult for me to stick to my fitness routine.

Nobody in this world is perfect. And, like you, I do not stick to a fitness regimen.

To be honest, I did not have a workout routine until recently.

In the past, I attempted to go to the gym several times but was only able to do so for 15-20 days due to excessive traveling for work and other reasons. โœˆ๏ธ

You may argue that reasons will always exist, and I completely agree.

For that reason, I try to practice one thing consistently, i.e., Mediation.

Every day, I spend 15-20 minutes meditating, which helps me maintain balance, pause my thoughts, and relax my mind.. ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ

Iโ€™ve been following this routine for around seven months.

We are all working hard to keep our fitness routines consistent. ๐Ÿ’ช

Arenโ€™t you tryingโ“

Therefore, I have decided to do one more thing Iโ€™m going to follow now, and for that, Iโ€™ve enrolled in a gym and CrossFit program.

We frequently neglect the foundation of life, which is health, due to excessive travel and work pressure.

I have struggled a lot in this area of my life, but now I am looking forward to resolving it as well.

I realize I am committing to you and informing you about enrollment.๐Ÿ“…

You might be thinking that enrollment is not enough.

It is all about sticking to the routine.

To answer your question, I would like to tell you that this time I have decided to do it when it is possible without the pressure of consistency.

โžก๏ธ When are you deciding to fix your fitnessโ“

We all think that if we could go into the past and fix things, we would certainly do it. โช

After finishing my MBA, I assumed my was complete. I took whatever education was available anywhere in the world. ๐ŸŒŽ

Funnyโ“ ๐Ÿ˜„

I Know, But itโ€™s true.

I assumed that now was the time to carry out the plan. It is high time to go out and shine in the world. I completely blocked out the aspect of my life. I did not learn anything new for the next three years after college. I was just involved in my daily job. ๐Ÿ’ผ

If I could go back in time, I would spend those three years learning a lot.๐Ÿ“–

Growing up, I realized that books and courses do not teach you everything. You also need to have a network of mentors, , and managers from different industries if you are on the job.

I used to believe that networking was merely a activity used to generate leads for businesses. And I had a thought: Iโ€™ll do it if required.

However, this is completely false. โŒ

I realized that networking should be a regular part of our lives. I started doing it a few years ago. But I wish I could have started it earlier. ๐Ÿค

Through , you can find mentors, teachers, advisers, and guidance on a variety of topics from diverse perspectives that you may not have considered before.๐ŸŽ“

This is quite common for all of us. Blindly trusting others. We all trusted people blindly at first, and it eventually backfired on us.

When I trusted people blindly, my decision-making was flawed. But now, I verify before I trust anyone. Itโ€™s not that I donโ€™t want to extend my trust to .โœ…

Yes! I would like to, but first I will double-check. I wish I had this earlier.

I was recently reflecting on my first job, which I obtained through my college campus placement while pursuing my .๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐ŸŽ“

I worked at ICICI Bank as a manager in my first job, and I was responsible for selling banking products to HNIโ€™s (high net worth individuals).๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐ŸŽ“

It was not easy to be chosen for that position. Very few people were chosen in the four rounds of the interview process, and I am glad I was one of them.

Another wonder was that sales and finance were neither my category nor my interest. ๐Ÿ“Š

My was marketing, so I had to deal with a lot of challenges in that position.

Regardless, I made it through eight months.

To be honest with you, I was unhappy with what I did during my eight-month period. I failed miserably at that job, but I learned a lot.๐Ÿ“š

You know what I have always wondered: why did they choose me for that when I was so bad at itโ“

What did they see in me that I couldnโ€™t see, and what did I see that they were unable to unfoldโ“

These kept knocking on my mind's door.

And upon reflection, I got the answer.

According to me, the main reason for that job's failure was
I did not enjoy the process of selling banking products, which was highly intervening.

As far as my knowledge of the product was concerned, I was not from finance background, so I couldn't connect with it. So, I wasnโ€™t able to sell it efficiently.

And this is what the interviewers could not see while I was being interviewed.

Then why did they choose meโ“

They hired me because they saw my potential for:
๐Ÿ‘‰ Relationship-building
๐Ÿ‘‰ skills
๐Ÿ‘‰ Influencing power without authority
๐Ÿ‘‰ Building rapport with people

These are the soft skills they may have noticed while interviewing me for the job.๐Ÿ“

This question revealed a lot about my strengths and helped me reaffirm my in the sales that I do.

And it's not even new to my family to know how much I love sales now.

One more thing that was required for that job was trust to sell the banking products, as people are putting in their money by trusting their manager to it.

And they saw sincerity in my willingness to do that.

This taught me that your first job can be a failure, but that failure will take you miles!

What is your success story after the failure of your first jobโ“

Have you experienced the power of a โ“

Or do you prefer to go your solo wayโ“

Before I share my view on it, I would like to take you a step back into history.

Since times immemorial, man has been known to be a social animal. He has always lived in communities.๐ŸŒ

Now, letโ€™s imagine two scenarios at the beginning of the creation๐ŸŒฑ

๐˜š๐˜ค๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ช๐˜ฐ 1
There is an island with a large where everybody is doing everything. In the sense that a person who is doing farming, is also cooking, is also going out for fishing, is taking care of domestic animals too, is also going out into the forest for cutting woods and that same person is guarding the house at night!

๐˜š๐˜ค๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ช๐˜ฐ 2
There is another island where specific roles are assigned to specific . So, there are fishermen, there are farmers, wood-cutters, hunters, potters, and there are also people who are responsible for the security, and then there are those who take care of cooking or cleaning at home etc.

Of these two scenarios, which do you think works better and more efficientlyโ“

Where in scenario 1 each individual is working solitarily, in scenario 2 each individual is doing his job, while making his to the society, as a result of which all are living together in harmony.๐Ÿค

I am sure, we all would agree that scenario 2 has a better working arrangement.

Now what is this Scenario aboutโ“ It consists of a community with a common objective and a common purpose. The objective being to lead a peaceful life, and the common purpose being to . ๐Ÿ’ก

Based on these principles, I see myself as a part of various communities. Like the community of entrepreneurs, community of HRs, owners, that of digital marketers, marketers etc.๐ŸŒฑ

And I see a clear logic behind these communities. Each of them has a common purpose!

Yes, as fellow community members, we all share knowledge, exchange thoughts and support each other, but all these are just the byproducts.

Basically, a community needs to have a solid why, a strong foundation and a common cause.

Though I am a part of several communities, I havenโ€™t built one yet.

But yes, the community building as a practice looks very interesting to me.

What about youโ“
What does Community mean to youโ“

How do you see yourself, as an integral part of a community or more, or as someone who would want to live a solitary โ“

Today I bring to you 3 simple phrases that are inhibiting your without you knowing it.

๐Ÿ—จ๏ธ In conversations, most people are replying or reacting instead of responding. The โ“ You donโ€™t realize how your words land on the listener and often, the point gets completely lost.

๐Ÿค” Now, i invite you to reflect. If you often use these 3 phrases in conversations (much like me), it's time for you to think about speaking more mindfully:
๐Ÿ‘‰ โ€˜But, I thinkโ€ฆโ€™
๐Ÿ‘‰ โ€˜However,....โ€™
๐Ÿ‘‰ โ€˜Iโ€™m sure you would also agree..โ€™

๐Ÿค Sounds familiarโ“ Speaking mindfully is all about considering the listener in front of us.

๐Ÿง  When we use words like โ€˜butโ€™ or โ€˜howeverโ€™ - we make our message vulnerable to being misunderstood. Because the human brain only on what is said after โ€˜butโ€™ and โ€˜howeverโ€™ - it is this that stays with the listener. Everything that is said before fizzles into thin air.

A similar outcome comes from presumptuous statements like โ€œ...im sure you would also agree with me.โ€ Here, once again, we are unconsciously taking the for granted.

These nuances are the very reason why say โ€˜communication is a sensitive matterโ€™!

๐Ÿ”‘ The solution, however, is simple: be aware of what you say and stay authentic. As a fun experiment, I invite you to try and count the number of times you are using these 3 phrases in a day!

7๏ธโƒฃ "Family" Like Work Culture: While camaraderie is wonderful, too much familiarity can blur professional boundaries.

Would you agree if I said that โ€˜Being yourself, reflecting your true personality, expressing your bona fide emotions and articulating well your core values & beliefs help you in every set of circumstances and enable you to lead a more meaningful and fulfilling โ€™โ“

In my rich as a Team Development Specialist, I have realized that not having to conform to any specific mould and not having to pretend to be someone else, helps increase my multi-times! And that in more ways than one.

Five ways in which Being Authentic helps me increase my productivity at work are:

To mark the anniversary of our Independence, I decided to visit the Symbol of the Largest in the world ๐Ÿ›๏ธ, that is, our Sansad Bhawan, early this month.

And the experience was unlike any other!๐Ÿ˜Š

Built way back in 1927, the building is a wonderful piece of architecture and bears a magisterial and aesthetic appeal.โœจ

And the best part was that I could witness The Lok Sabha live in action too.

Watching MPs from different parts of the country coming together, discussing the various issues affecting the country, and supporting or rejecting bills was an amazing .๐Ÿ—ณ๏ธ

It was like watching the country being sculptured and !๐ŸŒŸ

In those 20 minutes that I spent there, I was flooded with patriotic emotionsโค๏ธ and felt both pride for our country and for the freedom our people gave life for!๐Ÿ™

It was like witnessing what freedom was! MPs were given a proper opportunity to speak and share their , while the other MPs had an option to agree or disagree with the same!

Though, yes, there are random cases we learn of where breach of the right to freedom occurs, but, this visit made me realize that largely, we are a free and we are free to decide what we want to do and how we want to do it. ๐Ÿ—ฝ

This freedom is very dear to me and hence I see to it that this freedom is being preserved from my end too. Not just in my day to day life but also in my professional .๐Ÿ’ผ

As in, I ensure that the creative freedom of my team members is not limited as this freedom or independence is a must to and to give meaning to your life.๐ŸŒฑ
