Nice game against (Arup Haldar) of Sealdah but very disappointed at the end!

According to our score-sheet they won 40-29 (only by 11 kites). Very well played by both teams.

👉🏻 Our opponents provided ground at Bantala. Very nice game from 12:30pm till 5pm. But after that we were attacked by a group of local men (5/6 people) who were totally drunk - they were in an inside the ground and whole day they broke the Saddi & Manjha of both teams after each kite was cut. We didn’t tell anything to avoid chaos but in the end they came up charging us that we used slangs and attacked us with slangs, threats and took charki from our hands and even broke Saddi of our flying kites. We said SORRY although no offences done by us - opponents (hosts) were hiding when we were attacked and later when our member Sudhendu called them, they came and tried to help. Very DISAPPOINTED!!

We had to stop the game immediately and pack everything - we felt unsafe and those people were not allowing us to leave unless we pay them money for - those people were totally drunk and we were so terrified.

Somehow we managed to leave the place!!

Happy faces after a difficult game - Ground was too crowded, dor was touching other kites without pench & cutting each other.

PS: Ground Urbana (Hussain pur Ground) near (Byepass) - Lots of clubs arrived for matches holding grounds from the morning. Really difficult to find good space, if you arrive late. Lots of dangerous pot holes, please be careful.

Anyways nice game played by hosts - they win by good margin.
